Is there any better place to purchase than from the source country ?

Whilst every effort is made to portray the exact colors in the images, colors may vary slightly from the actual gems as gemstones behave differently to artificial light during photography. Therefore a margin of about 10% should be allowed for color differences.

Gemstones should ideally be viewed in Bright Natural Light to observe the actual colors.

Every effort is made to portray actual colors. Computer Monitor Settings also contribute significantly to variations in color.

If you are not satisfied with any item, Replacements or  Exchange is possible if notified within 3 days of receipt. In the event of Refund, Incurred shipping cost, Credit Card fees / Auction Fees  if any, will be deducted and balance refunded within 7 days of receipt of returned item.

LOST PARCELS : Where Parcels are lost in the mail, claims may be made from the relevant Postal Authorities or Insurance Companies. Partial or Full Replacement will be considered on a case-by -case basis, where applicable.

Items ordered for shipment from COLOMBO STORE are sent in Weekly Bulk Shipments from Colombo to our Distributors in USA and then mailed to U.S.A, International customers.

The Shipping Fees include all handling, packing and mailing charges. We advise Priority Airmail for orders over US $100 in value.
In the event of losses in transit or non-delivery, claims may be made within 30 days to institute enquires, and suitable action will be taken to locate lost parcels.

Combining Items from eBay Auctions

Items from different Auctions BUT FROM SAME STORES LOCATIONS may be combined within 10 days.

Since the eBay Bidder Policy requires payment to be finalized in two weeks, sellers are called upon to pay the end-of-auction commissions in additions to the Auction Fees, we would appreciate very much if orders are finalized within the two-week period. eBay does not entertain refund claims after this period lapses.

Credit Card Payments are usually processed the same day but occationally there are delays due to Server Problems/Failures. Even emails sometimes bounce back or are delayed.

Payment by Cheque or Money Order

Mail to Sri Lanka usually takes two weeks but there have been instances where mail has taken upto 30 days to reach mainly due to the distance involved. (Sri Lanka is located in Asia at the tip of India - Halfway around the globe.) Loss of mail is a rare occurrence but cannot be discounted. We advise customers to:

1) Mail Cheques/Money Orders under Registered/Priority Mail.

2) If mail is not received by us within 30 days - Inform the Bank to STOP PAYMENT Cheques/Money Orders.

PLEASE NOTE THAT

(A) Delivery will be effected ONLY UPON RECEIPT & REALIZATION of Cheques/Money Orders. May take a further 2-4 weeks.

(B) We do not hold ourselves responsible for mail NOT REACHING US - (Mail delivery is completely beyond our control).

(C) Sending party should institute claims from the Mail Office and effect Stop Payments of Cheques to enable recovery.
